5. Knowing every person in my school…though I can’t stand 86% of my schoolmates, I still find comfort in recognizing every face I pass in the hall. I think it will be quite nerve racking to go from 360 kids to 9,000 in three months!
4.Having all of my classes in one building…this is something I’m going to miss like crazy when I’m marching through snow/sleet/rain or 90+ degree heat next year in college. Plus, now I get 5 minutes to get down a hallway. Next year I may only get 5 minute to walk a half a mile across campus! Lucky for me, I have an adorable pair of rain boots and will treat myself to a cute rain jacket so I can survive the elements in style!
3. The teachers…I’m lucky to have had great teachers over the past 4 years, and a lot of them I’m really going to miss. My biology and chemistry teachers who have a scary resemblance to the Myth Buster guys. My newspaper teacher and the look of shock that crosses her face every time we say something vulgar. My history/Spanish teacher who is older than God and is rumored to have created the Spanish language. The math teachers who are always huddled together in the hallway talking about God knows what. The infamous teacher/coach bromance. My hilarious Accounting teacher who reads us all of her lame e-mails. Even my Office Procedures teacher/librarian who goes over every assignment even though no one in the class is listening to a word she’s saying. I’ll miss them all!
2. The guys in my class…the boys in my class are hilarious. They say what they want and tell ridiculous stories. Even when the tease me for my obsessions or tendency to overuse the word “literally,” they never cease to make me laugh. It’s weird to think after graduation I may never see any of them again! Makes me wanna cry, actually.
And last but not least…
1. My friends…I’m going to try not to cry while writing this one. My friends are the funniest, most amazing people I’ve ever met. They have been my sidekicks since we met and I love them so much. We share loves for chick flicks, boy bands, books, boys, and most importantly GOD! I don’t know how I’m going to handle being without them, without their lame jokes and breakdowns, without their wisdom and perverted minds, without their sarcasm and care. They’re the best friends ever!
